Epilogue of the 2015 event

This was Bristol Indonesian Society’s first event.

As it was our first undertaking, it was important to test our capabilities in : (i) organising an event; (ii) test the response from the market for a culture event. This was an exciting pilot project for the committee!!! After along discussion, we decided for our stepping stone to design a gathering for the Indonesian, friends and family.

We encourage and support Indonesian – living in the United Kingdom in particular Bristol – to seize the opportunity to show case their products and services. Some were seasoned business owners while others were first timers.

During the preparation of the event, the committee manage to unearth hidden talents amongst the Indonesian. So they too were encourage to share and performed their talent (s).

We are pleased to informed that the event, generated by the community spirit, was a success. More than 250 people came and the event became the landmark for more events to come.
